In a devastating multi-vehicle collision near Badnawar in Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar district, at least seven people lost their lives and four others sustained injuries, officials reported on Thursday.
According to Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. RK Shinde, the accident involved three to four vehicles and resulted in a major loss of life. “It was a huge and very unfortunate accident. Six people died on the spot, while one person succumbed to injuries while being transported to the hospital. Four others have been injured,” Dr. Shinde told ANI.
Authorities have confirmed that the bodies of the deceased will soon be handed over to their families and relatives. The injured are receiving medical treatment, though their current condition has not yet been disclosed.
An investigation into the cause of the accident is currently underway, and further details are awaited as officials continue their inquiry.
